Today.

Today, as I await my special breakfast, my special for-being-a-mother breakfast,

I will read all of the books I bought yesterday –

well, perhaps just one of the four, but not

before

I’ve finished reading the book I bought last month, the short read that I’m still

reading, and that not until I’ve checked my emails, and

before

I check my emails, I just need to check out whether I’m really related to all the

Deveys in Pattingham, or

not, and in between that, in between the checking, I must take a quick look at my

blog, and check the stats, which – are low – therefore,

before

getting on with reading Matt Haig, it must be time, I feel, to write another quick

poem, and

here it is, but

before

I publish it, I just need to check out Pixabay for a picture to marry up with

it

with this, my poem, and

the product of my own little bit of this ‘nervous planet’.
